Resort Description
Low-rise condominium resort near 2 beautiful beaches in south Kauai – This plantation-style condo resort is set on 70 tropical acres and offers a relaxed island ambience. Both Brennecke Beach, to the west, and Shipwreck Beach, to the east, are a stroll away. Hawaii's first sugar plantation was established in Koloa, and the town has some of the Hawaiian Islands' oldest buildings.
Accommodations: The 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom suites are arranged in 5 condominium communities, each with its own style. Your comfortable condo has a private lanai with a garden view, a separate living area, ceiling fans, cable TV, a VCR, Internet access, a clock radio, complimentary bottled water, a washer and a dryer, an iron and an ironing board, a hairdryer, and daily housekeeping. The full kitchen includes a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a microwave oven, and a blender. Sleep like a log in a king-size, queen-size, twin, or sofa bed. The largest suite can accommodate up to 8 people.
Dining & Entertainment: Use local ingredients and put a tropical accent on the snacks and meals you prepare in your suite's kitchen. Grill up something savory on a resort barbecue, and enjoy a picnic in the sunshine. You can explore the culinary offerings in Koloa. Plan an outing to Poipu Shopping Village, which hosts Polynesian music and dance shows.
Recreation: Catch some body boarding and body surfing waves in the waters off Brennecke Beach, at the eastern end of Poipu Beach Park. NOTE: The surf is great at Shipwreck Beach, but the strong currents mean you best forgo swimming. The resort has several pools where you can take a leisurely dip. Play tennis, and relax in a jet spa. You can jog and walk along a scenic trail. Championship golf is in the area. Visit nearby Spouting Horn at sunset, when the shooting spray of water takes on the colors of a rainbow.
