Resort Description
Two family-oriented all-inclusive resorts along white sands of Playa del Carmen – This pair of sibling properties share 10-acres of land on Mexico’s Caribbean coast. Primarily catering to families, there is plenty to keep kids, teens, and adults entertained. Both offer all-inclusive amenities that run round the clock, easy access to a spectacular beach, fine dining, organized activities for kids, a spa, and more. Local shopping and nightlife are less than 2 miles away.
Accommodations: Guest rooms are housed within 20 thatched-roof, 3-story buildings. Rooms in Quetzal are adorned with Mexican art, while Tucan has a Mayan-inspired theme that runs throughout its design and decor. Accommodations are well-appointed, each with a balcony or ground-floor terrace, marble floors, cushioned sofas and armchairs, and amenities that include air-conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TV, phones, mini-bars, in-room safes, and hairdryers. Rooms have king-sized or paired double-sized beds and pull-out sofa beds.

A casual beachside spot serves light fare throughout the day. Specialty restaurants serve Mexican, Brazilian, and Italian cuisine. Marimba is a steakhouse and bar open for dinner, but also serves a continental breakfast in the mornings. All domestic and international beverages are included, and served at a variety of bars. NOTE: Alcoholic beverages are not served between the hours of 2:00am and 9:00am. Room service is available from 11:00am-11:00pm. Recreation: There is a large pool area that includes a lagoon, activities pool, and an adults-only pool with a swim-up bar. Plenty of lounge chairs and thatched shades are available poolside and on the beach. Children have their own pool, and Lucy’s Mini Club entertains travelers 4-12 years of age with a daily, supervised program of games, painting, singing, and more. A PADI-certified dive center offers scuba instruction and a variety of excursions. Snorkeling tours and equipment are also available. Golf is nearby.
