Setting & Ambience: Personalized service and attention to detail keep guests coming back to this resort on a secluded peninsula. Characterized by a casual elegance and a club-like atmosphere, it was a 100-acre pineapple, allspice, and coconut plantation in the 18th century.
Accommodations: The 2-story Pineapple House contains 36 guest rooms. Renovated and designed by Ralph Lauren, all rooms evoke tropical beach living. White stone floors, romantic four-poster mahogany bamboo beds and sumptuous upholstered furniture from the Ralph Lauren home collection add to each and every guest’s comfort. All the rooms have air-conditioning, a king-size bed or double beds, double sink vanities, and a coffee maker with Jamaica's renowned Mountain Blue coffee. NOTE: If you want a TV, you'll need to make arrangements prior to your arrival. European socialites and Hollywood celebrities like the 27 casually elegant villas located among tropical gardens. Each villa has 2, 3, 4, or 5 suites, for a total of 74. Most villas have a private swimming pool.
Dining & Entertainment: There are a variety of dining options available, some of which are seasonal. The Seaside Terrace offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with two buffet nights: Fridays are “Jamaica Nights” and Mondays are the renowned “Beach BBQs” laid out on the secluded beach. The Restaurant is the newest addition offering fine dining on a beautiful terrace overlooking the bay, open five evenings per week, with reservations only and limited seating. Enjoy private dining either on your cottage terrace, on the beach, or in your room. The spa offers spa lunches in a tranquil setting and the Cocktail Bar features late lunch menu and early dinners for children. Complimentary tea is served in the late afternoon.
Recreation: The secluded beach has a fully equipped water sports center with some complimentary services. PADI diving, deep-sea fishing boats, and yachts are available for charter. Round Hill also boasts five all-weather tennis courts (two lit for evening play). The resident pro is always delighted to arrange tournaments, Round Robins etc. Enjoy the jogging/walking path, and weekly nature walk. Golf can be arranged at championship course at the Tryall Club, which is just a few minutes away with complimentary transportation. The Spa is located on a 10-acre oceanfront lawn housing 10 treatment rooms, one garden outdoor treatment area, beauty salon, and fitness center.
