Duke's Restaurant & Barefoot Bar is a must, named for Duke Kahanamoku, the founding father of surfing, with a menu of authentic Hawaiian cuisine and tropical drinks (try the Hula Pie for dessert). If you've got an exceptional appetite, head to Perry Smorgy, an all-you-can-eat buffet that has a great reputation with locals and travelers alike (there's a reason it's been in business since the 1970s).
