Resort Description

Affordable high-rise hotel 3 blocks from beach, casual, family-friendly atmosphere – This 12-story hotel is a popular choice for those traveling on a budget, especially families. Within a few minutes walk is Kalakaua Avenue, Honolulu's main street, home to many shops, restaurants, and bars. Play tennis on rooftop courts, lounge on the sundeck, and head to the beach for swimming and surfing.

Accommodations: All rooms have balconies (which are called lanais in Hawaii). Amenities include air-conditioning, TVs, phones with voicemail and data ports, in-room safes, mini-fridges, coffee makers, hairdryers, and irons/ironing boards. Standard and city view rooms have 1 king bed or 2 double beds (with rollaway beds available at a surcharge), while 1-bedroom suites have 1 queen bed and 2 double beds or 4 double beds. Suites have kitchenettes equipped with stovetops or microwaves, refrigerators, cookware, and tableware. NOTE: All rooms and common areas are non-smoking.

Dining & Entertainment: On-site, an IHOP (International House of Pancakes) restaurant is open from 6:00am-12:00am, and serves pancakes, waffles, omelets, and crepes, as well as a variety of entrees for lunch and dinner, including burgers, fries, steaks, and chicken. There are several dining options, including The Cheesecake Factory and Senor Frog's Restaurant & Bar, at the nearby Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, which also houses over 150 stores. Waikiki Beach Walk has it's own selection, including: Contemporary island cuisine at Holokai Grill; steaks, seafood, and a New Orleans-inspired menu at Ruth's Chris Steak House; and the world's largest selection of draft beer (130!) at Yard House. Kalakaua Avenue, a few minutes away on foot, is home to numerous bars and a lively after-dark social scene.

Recreation: Onsite, guests can lounge on the sundeck and play rooftop tennis matches. Instruction is available to help you improve you game. Venture offsite to explore local attractions like the Diamond Head Crater, the Waikiki Aquarium, and Honolulu Zoo. Hawaii's famed golden sand shoreline is a short walk away and invites everything from sunbathing and swimming, to snorkeling and surfing. Ask you Travel Consultant about arranging local excursions, tours, surfing lessons, and board rentals.
