Luxury all-inclusive directly on the beach, subdued adults-only atmosphere – Set directly on sandy, golden shores between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, this is the most luxurious resort inside Iberostar’s Playa Paraiso Complex, and due to its adults-only clientele, has a more subdued atmosphere than its family-oriented siblings. Surrounded by colorful, green jungle-gardens, the columns, cupolas, elaborate pools, and fountains create a sense of elegance and grandeur.
Accommodations: All guest rooms here are suites, and are housed within modern-style buildings. Amenities include fine European linens and bedding, private balcony or terrace, double-size Jacuzzis, air-conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player, MP3/iPod docking station, in-room safe, stocked mini-bar, and iron/ironing board. The marble baths have his and her vanities, luxury bath amenities, bathrobes, and slippers. Butler and concierge service are on hand to make reservations, and provide things like personalized mini-bar and pillow menus. Guests staying in the Oceanfront Suites enjoy an upgraded level of concierge and butler service.
Dining & Entertainment: As a guest here you have exchange privileges with the sibling properties throughout the complex, for access to more than 19 restaurants and 19 bars, but there’s plenty of options onsite. The Classic American Steakhouse serves choice cuts and fresh seafood. International Gourmet is an exquisite 5 course, candlelit dining experience. The Japanese specialty restaurant serves sushi and an extensive selection of fusion dishes. An Italian restaurant offers homemade pasta, hot and cold antipasto, and traditional meat and seafood dishes, complimented by espresso drinks and premium dessert liquors. An international buffet is open for all meals, and hosts themed dinners including a lobster fest and a Mexican fiesta. A poolside grill serves buffet-style meals with daily a la carte specials. For after-dark entertainment, there is a disco and live shows in the theater. Room service is available 24-hours a day.
