Resort Description
All-Inclusive, relaxing, Victorian-style resort on the beach – Surrounded by more than 20 acres of lush rainforest vegetation, this Victorian-style All-Inclusive attracts couples, singles, and families looking for a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. A popular destination for both North American and Europeans, the property opens onto the palm-fringed sands of Bloody Bay, a calm, crescent-shaped cove named for its storied past as a whaling harbor.
Accommodations: The guest rooms and suites are housed within a series of 2- and 3-story coral pink, colonial-style buildings. Each features a private balcony or ground-floor terrace with views of the gardens or ocean, and suites have living areas and dressing rooms. Amenities include air-conditioning, satellite TV, phone, mini-bar, liquor dispenser, in-room safe, and iron/ironing board. Spacious marble baths feature hairdryers and bath amenities. There are some interconnecting rooms.
Dining & Entertainment: Negril Restaurant is open for all meals, and serves a buffet with cook-to-order stations. Themed dinner buffets are served 3 times a week. For a la carte dining, there is Sir Anthony, serving gourmet cuisine; Hakuchi, a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant; and Bloody Bay, which doubles as a poolside grill and a steakhouse. All require reservations for evening meals, and enforce a dress code. There's also a pizzeria, and a beachside spot specializing in Jamaican jerk cooking. Snacks and beverages are available 24 hours a day, and drinks are served in 4 bars, including the sports bar and Reggae lounge bar. Live shows and entertainment are performed nightly, there's a game room with slot machines, and drinks and dancing at the Pacha nightclub 6 nights a week.
Recreation: Loungers are set poolside and on the beach, palm trees provide natural shade, and a swim-up bar serves drinks and cocktails. An array of water sports includes snorkeling, boogie boarding, windsurfing, sailing, and kayaking. The 2 tennis courts are lighted for night play, and you can also join a game of volleyball, get a workout at the gym, and follow it up with some time in the Jacuzzi and sauna. Kids have their own daily activities program, a playground, and a safe, supervised recreational environment.
