Previous guests have found the owner to be charming and helpful. Anghiari village is a further 5 minute drive and the centre of Arezzo can be reached within 15 to 20 minutes.

On a hill top, 600m above sea level, Piombona has incomparable views over to distant mountains in the Arno Valley which will enchant guests at all times of the year. Situated lower down, the swimming pool has an uninterrupted panorama which delights visitors. Because of the secluded position, and the expansive and unspoiled vista, the property has been restored to include a terrace encircling the entire house. Lawn and trees make up the rest of the garden. The interior is exceptionally accommodating and guests not only have a telephone on meter but a portable telephone to take outside in the grounds. Being well placed for visiting all the historical centres, this is a welcome retreat in a tranquil environment.
