Caprarola - Lake Vico, Italy Information
* VILLA CONCETTA'S SWIMMING POOL WILL OPEN ON 1ST APRIL 2012*Lake Vico is Europe’s oldest volcanic lake. Its tranquil shores are lined with numerous clean beaches, bars and atmospheric restaurants. Just two kilometres away to the east is Villa Concetta, peaceful, secluded and well appointed. The grounds have lots of space, with extensive enclosed lawns, and they contain a splendid swimming pool. The house itself is not overlooked. It is modern yet homely, comfortable, and well-furnished - an ideal family holiday base whose location is a bit different from the usual destinations of Tuscany and Umbria. Despite this, there’s plenty to do in the area: Orvieto, Narni (the very centre of Italy), and even Rome, are all within easy reach via the Autostrada del Sole.
