Beside the large swimming pool is a small, children’s pool and these are open between 1st June and 15th September. Both are proportionately distanced from the apartments to ensure against noise. A tennis court is on a lower level from the pool. Nothing has been overlooked for guests’ comforts in the furnishings and fittings which are of a good standard. The bedrooms have insect screens.Castellina in Chianti and Siena are 10 kilometres and 12 kilometres respectively and just 2 kilometres away is a lovely lake and park. Florence is approximately 45 minutes by road and throughout this splendid Chianti Classico region are many excellent restaurants.

The history of this little hamlet dates back to the year 1000 and it is a truly unrivalled location. All the buildings have been restructured to make individually owned homes. It would have been a tragedy if it had been ruined but every effort was made, using the right materials to complement all the original features, so that the character was not lost.
