The swimming pool has an enclosed, shallow platform to one side for younger children. The surrounding terrace is backed by trees and shrubs allowing pockets of sun and shade. The views around are over stunning countryside with the steamy peak of Mount Etna in the background. The owners here are greatly welcoming. On the edge of the village of Piedimonte Etneo which has a bank, shops etc, it is about 44kms from Catania. This is a marvellous area from which to tour the cultural cities along this eastern coastline, and for wandering further inland through some of the most varied and spectacular countryside and mountains.

Without doubt, this is one of the loveliest villas on the northern slopes of Mount Etna. It comprises of the main villa where the owners reside and who have created a completely independent wing for guests, and an autonomous garden house. All this, and a generous 12 x 25 metre swimming pool is located in an established parkland exclusive to the property. The pool is open between 13th April and 26th October. Aesthetically both accommodations are delightful, the villa being furnished in authentic antiques and the garden house having more modern furnishings.
